A Reoccurring Dream
What I am going to describe is actually not a reoccurring dream, but I do think it will be pretty cool.
Imagine this. I am 18 years old, young, but old enough to make legal adult decisions and Gordon Ramsey is with me. We are about to start our new show under a major network. Maybe the network is TLC because the show is like reality TV and it will be educational to some extent. Anyway, Gordon and I are traveling around the Boston area and a mystery location looking for the best chicken wings. We go to 14 different spots for chicken and there the magic happens. While we eat chicken we not only judge it (of course), but we also talk about life. But I mean the juicy stuff not like “what is the meaning of life?” personally I don’t want to watch that. I want to know what’s in Gordon Ramsey’s fridge, and what the best part of someone’s body is. I want to know what he rants about and weird smells he likes.
Of course I would answer these myself. In fact I will right now. Considering I am not in school because of the Corona Virus my fridge is full of random stuff. Jasmine rice that I overcooked, dairy products, lots of avocados, condiments, and left overs from this past Saint Patrick’s day. The best part of someone’s body I would say is the nose. I love that noses are connected to ethnicity which is really cool and the more different it looks the more I like it.
I catch myself ranting about how scary movies are not actually scary. Scary for me is not talking dolls, short clowns on tricycles, or tall clowns turning into spiders. I think the real scary things are more realistic or at least they make me feel like that could happen to me. Like Twilight Zone and Jordan Peele’s recent movie, Us. As for a weird smell, I like the smell of pools with chlorine. A lot of other people like the smell of gas, no way, chlorine.
As for the tv show, there are 14 episodes for each spot. In each one, we can discuss the history of the place, then explore the kitchen. Afterwards, Gordon and I will sit down, wait for our wings and talk. When the wings arrive, we eat then critique. We also have to give a rating, either using percentages or rank the places as we go.
You may be wondering, what these 14 places are, especially the mystery place. Well I picked them out. I know my favorite and I know my least favorite, but I want to know Gordon’s opinions. Now, as for the places, they are:
Wellingtons Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, Nicks Pizza, Joe Pizza, Wing Stop, Amores, Ma Magoos, La Cascias, Popeye’s, KFC, Stop and Shop, Tony C’s, and Homemade Chicken (compliments of my dad…he doesn’t know, but we’re fantasizing here). As for the mystery place, I am not saying this is my favorite, because of bias reasons, however I will say this is a top option. The mystery place is the Norwegian Dawn cruise. Gordon and I will be traveling from Boston to Bermuda on this cruise, eating wings, and doing every tourist-y thing imaginable, including trivia. Considering I am an adult in this TV show I will also be clubbing with Gordon Ramsey and drinking Strawberry Daiquiris.
